Fragment #7

A girl was online on Skype. Half an hour later she got a notification that her friend, a boy, was also online. But she decided to ignore the notification.

Boy: Hey, you see me online?

Girl: Yes. I saw a notification a couple of seconds ago.

Boy: So, why don't you say hi to me then?

Girl: Sorry? What you mean?

Boy: You see a notification that I am online but you don't say hi.

Girl: Why should I?

Boy: Why it's always me who have to say hi first?

Girl: If you don't like it, don't do it.

Boy: I like it, but why you never do it first?

Girl: Because I don't want to do it first.

Boy: But why?

Girl: Because I never approach boys.

Boy: Oh my God. I think it's fine for girls to approach boys.

Girl: Yes I know, but I never approach boys.

Boy: Why you so stubborn? And selfish?

Girl: Hey, come on? Why so serious?

Boy: If you keep on doing this, you will never have any boyfriend.

Girl: I don't care.

Boy: You will hurt boys and they will hate you.

Girl: I don't care.

Boy: You are really stubborn.

Girl: So you hate me now?

Boy: No.

Girl: And you will stop saying hi to me?

Boy: No.

Girl: So, what's the matter with this?

Boy: Nothing. I just can't understand why you so insensitive.

Girl: I just can't understand either why you so sensitive. Who are you to me?

Prinsip Bisa Berubah

Prinsip hidup yang kau pegang selama bertahun-tahun bisa saja berubah. Dan ketika itu terjadi, kau harus siap. Jika prinsip itu berubah ke arah kebaikan, mungkin kau bisa bersujud syukur atau malah berjingkrak-jingkrak kegirangan. Jika sebaliknya, mungkin kau bisa mulai mengutuki dirimu sendiri, mengenang masa lalumu yang begitu indah dipenuhi oleh kebaikan-kebaikan, menyalahkan orang-orang lain atas segala tindakan yang kau lakukan, mereka-reka bermacam pembenaran untuk menepis semua rasa bersalah yang mulai mengganggu pikiran, mengatakan ini hanyalah sebuah defense mechanism dari suatu gejolak yang lebih besar yang terpendam di hati, atau bertingkah sok melodramatis dengan mengatakan 'I'm now on my quarter-life crisis'. F**k off!!!
