Girl: You gonna get married one day?
Boy: Yes, of course. But I will do it through taaruf.
Girl: You are now with me and talking about marrying a girl through taaruf?
Boy: Yes, why?
Girl: Are you kidding me?!!
Boy: Well… the concept is simple, a lot simpler than our relationship right now. What I wonder is how great it will feel on the first night when I blend in one with the one I never touch before. That will be a divine pleasure. No lying, no regret, all is bare at that moment. You will know the bad and the good, all in one time. You will fall in love on that first night. The concept in bf-gf relationship is that you save the worst for the last. You get married and then you start knowing the bad things of your spouse. It’s different here. In this concept, you save the best for the last.
Girl: How can you find someone who is good for you if you never know her well enough before the wedding?
Boy: You don’t know the concept. In most cases, before doing the taaruf, someone asks their parents to find someone to be their mate. And that “someone” has been considered good by the parents. That “someone” mostly comes from the family circle so the family has known the bad and the good about him or her.
Girl: So, you want your parents to find a good girl to do a taaruf with you and then if you find her suitable for your desires, you will say yes and both of you get married?
Boy: Not as simple as that, but it’s pretty much like that.
Girl: Then I pity the woman who will be your wife.
Boy: Why?
Girl: Of course. Don’t you think that you are fucking selfish? Your parents don’t know what you do outside the house so they will think that you are a good man who is good for every good girl in the world. But I know you inside out. You don’t deserve someone good like that. I will be sorry for her because, even through taaruf, she will not find a good man to be her husband. I pity her; don’t you? Cause you’re not good at all. You’re dirty, fucking dirty. Don’t you see your reflection in the mirror, fucking retard? Don’t you ask yourself “Who am I? Do I deserve her?”
Boy: Why you’re so rude?
Girl: What you want is that you get the divine pleasure of fucking her without ever touching her before. You just want to fall in love while fucking her. I know the concept of taaruf is good. But it is not made for you. The concept is just not good for you. Or you are not good enough for the concept. It’s too late for you to want it that way. You are not a good man so you don’t deserve someone good. You are kind but not good. You can repent but still, I think you don’t deserve her. It’s not fair. It will never be fair. It will be fair if you marry someone who knows you inside out.
Boy: But the one who knows me inside out will marry someone else.
Girl: I know. But it can’t be the reason to break another girl’s life. I am a hypocrite. But if you do that, you will be the most hypocritical of the most hypocritical. And I will hate you for that. Please, don’t.
Boy: (Saying nothing, looking at her heartlessly and empty-mindedly with his moist eyes)
Girl: (Knowing that he breaks inside, but saying nothing, just looking at him as heartlessly and empty-mindedly as he does)

Cowok: Bos kamu baik orangnya?
Cewek: Baik. Tiap kali ke luar kota atau ke luar negeri, dia selalu bawain aku oleh-oleh.
Cowok: Nah, itu tandanya dia suka sama kamu.
Cewek: Ya nggak lah.
Cowok: Emang karyawan lain juga dikasih oleh-oleh?
Cewek: Ya mana aku tau???!!! Dan emang apa urusan aku sampe harus tau hal-hal begituan.
Cowok: Habis ini dia pasti ngajak kamu nge-date.
Cewek: Apa-apaan sih kamu ini.
Cowok: Taruhan deh. Dia baik gitu pasti ada maunya.
Cewek: Bosku itu cewek.
Cowok: (Kaget, celingukan, malu) Oalah, cewek ta?
Cewek: Dan dia juga bukan lesbi. Dia udah punya cowok. Dia normal. Dia dari keluarga baik-baik. Dia taat ibadahnya.
Cowok: Hehe...
Cewek: Makanya jadi orang jangan terlalu berburuk sangka donk.
Cowok: Iya iya...
Tanpa pamrih. Jangan disamain sama kamu.
Cowok: Lho... kok aku?

When you're tired of your job,
When you're tired of people,
When you're tired of the weight of the world on your shoulder,
Maybe I can help.
But when you're tired of me,
How can I help you?
Are you tired of me?
When you're tired of people,
When you're tired of the weight of the world on your shoulder,
Maybe I can help.
But when you're tired of me,
How can I help you?
Are you tired of me?

Girls Friendzoned by Boys
WARNING: PARENTAL ADVISORY (Some contents might be considered inappropriate)
There is a strong believe that the number of boys being friendzoned by girls surpasses what happens the other way around. However, this does not rule out the possibility that the number of girls friendzoned by boys is also abundant. Well, I was also friendzoned in some times of my life. From my experience, here are the characteristics that they boys are friendzoning me:
- He owes me money
- He tells me about money-related problems
- He talks about farts and poops with me
- He talks about boobs in general with me, including some other girls’ boobs
- He tells me how he jerks off

(Note: I know the "friendzone" term from a friend who is a 9gag addict)

My Gal
One thing that is enjoyable about windowshopping with one of my best girls, Gal, is that when I point at some bikinis or other very revealing dresses and say to her "that is so you".
And another enjoyable thing about spending time with her is that I can pretend that we're both boys so I can mock her anytime I like (and she does me anytime she likes) and that we can do anything that I do not normally do with my other best girls.
But the saddest thing about us is that we never hug. Not that I do not want it. It's just that she does not really like the physical contact with others. Maybe crying on my shoulder is the furthest thing she can do.
Anyway, I love her more than anyone might have ever guessed.

Fragment #8
Boy: Dear, I want you to be my girlfriend...
Girl: Why? Why me? You've met a lot of girls. But why me? I remember the last time you told me about you playing futsal and the girls were getting crazy when they saw you. Why don't you ask one of them to be your girlfriend? Or have you?
Boy: No, I haven't. It's only you that I want because it's nice to talk to you.
Girl: Really? Is that the reason you want me to be your girlfriend? It's not because none of the girls you met is as beautiful and skinny as I am?
Boy: Haha... You really smart, darling... Yes, you are the most beautiful and sexiest girl I've ever met. So, you wanna be my girlfriend?
Girl: No, I can't.
Boy: Please. Please be my girlfriend.
Girl: Sorry, Paul, I can't.
Boy: Why? Don't you find me attractive?
Girl: You are attractive to me and to almost every girl, Paul. I see every girl look at you twice when you pass them by. But to be my boyfriend, it's more than just about how much attractive you are to me.
Boy: Is it because of my religion? You said you're fine with my religion.
Girl: Yes, I'm fine with your religion in terms of friendship. But when you decide to be somebody else's girlfriend, you have to be serious about that. It means, the boyfriend and girlfriend must share the same vision, the same belief, the same religious view. But, again, that is not the main reason why I can't be your girlfriend.
Boy: Then what is the main reason?
Girl: How long will you be in Indonesia?
Boy: 14 months in total. Until now, I've been here for approximately 5 months. So there are about 9 months left.
Girl: So, technically, if I say yes, I will be your girlfriend for 9 months?
Boy: Yes.
Girl: And after that you will leave me?
Boy: Yes, unless you wanna come with me.
Girl: No, of course I won't leave Indonesia.
Boy: So what's the problem with me leaving this country?
Girl: I'm afraid I will fall in love with you.
Boy: So don't!
Girl: How can you say that?
Boy: It's easy. Don't let your feelings come out when you're with me.
Girl: So what's the point of being boyfriend-girlfriend if there's no feeling?
Boy: I need someone to talk.
Girl: You can talk to me anytime you want even if I'm not your girlfriend.
Boy: I wanna talk in terms of love.
Girl: You say there's no love included.
Boy: I wanna talk to you about something personal.
Girl: You've been talking about anything to me Paul, even the most personal.
Boy: Okay... okay... I wanna do what a friend can't do.
Girl: Like?
Boy: Kissing you.
Girl: I know it. I know that's your only motivation. So I guess it's quite clear for you why I can't be your girlfriend.
Boy: But...
Girl: You still wanna be my friend or not?
Boy: Yes, of course.
Girl: So, let's stop the conversation here and never talk about it anymore.
